Awake in Jesus Christ!
I will not let anyone deceive me with FOOLISH words. For example “same sex marriage;” “politically correct,” “co-exist,” “self-esteem.” [Yes even self-esteem! Remember it is Christ and no longer self.] Accepting these things only bring God’s anger because I would be disobeying Him. So what should I do? I have nothing, and I mean “NO THING” to do WITH [not for] them, but I can be the Good Samaritan. Yes, I lived in darkness until Jesus Christ delivered me. I was a wretched soul! The saving grace of Jesus Christ continues to show me the Light and I enjoy goodness, righteousness and truth. Jesus is alive! I may not have money and fame now, but they too will pass away. I have eternal life, the only thing guaranteed since I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Therefore, each day I try to learn what pleases the Lord Jesus Christ. My prayer is that each day I have nothing to do with the worthless things done in the world. I am no longer sleeping in darkness, but alive and well in Jesus Christ. [Reference: Ephesians 5:6-14]

My Prayer Today
Father God in the name of Jesus, I pray that that my professing of knowing You is confirmed in my works. I pray that I’ll be sober minded, uncorrupt in thought and action; and that my speech and plans will have no evil hidden agenda. And Father, I pray to daily deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Holy Spirit, as you remind me of these things, teach me to do those things that please God. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen!

Nothing Can Restrict the Workings of God (Numbers 11:1-30)
God moves in unprecedented ways. The people complained about the lack of meat to eat. Moses thinks about the size of the complaining population and panics. He tells God he cannot alone handle the situation. God tells Moses what He (God) will do. God instructs Moses to find seventy men of the elders and gather them in a specific area. Two of the seventy (Eldad and Medad) are not with the other sixty-eight at the time. God speaks to Moses. Moses then speaks God's Spirit upon the registered seventy men. In spite of Eldad and Medad not being at the specified area that Moses had stationed the others, yet both Eldad and Medad prophesied as the other sixty eight men. God had told moses seventy, so God used the seventy in spite of their absence. Nothing - distance, location, hardship, even death - can restrict God, Jesus Christ and/or the Spirit of God!

Today
Yes...another day's gone and a look at my yesterdays. Umm...son graduated from college and I am so thankful that family and friends could make it to the celebration on yesterday. The joy is that he has remain in the Lord's rest through Christ Jesus!!! PTL
Today, I learned from one of my pastors an intimate definition of "helpmeet." Very deep and profound! I am later encouraged in service by the sermon, especially the structure in which it was presented. Most importantly, it was a confirmation of some things I have felt and believed "forever." Now, it's like "St. Jerome go out there and do what the Lord created you for. Exert yourself and stop being comfortable with your knowledge. Teach the Truth, no borders!"
One experience: I met a lady yesterday who indicated so much how she needs Jesus in her life but felt bad because she is an alcoholic. I explained to her that Jesus loves her just as she is.I invited her to service. Ooops! She did not show up today. I must find her and again reach out to her.
Father God, in the name of Jesus I ask that You give me the grace to find and reach out to "D" again. You created her in Your image and the devil is working to destroy her. May she be guided by the Holy Spirit to come to service and enjoy everything You have for her. Amen!

2011: Regroup for Success
2011 is my year to regroup for success.
Lord Jesus, in your name I come to the Father thanking Him for 2010. 2010 is gone and there is nothing I can do to change it. I pray that I come forth with my emotions and feelings. I pray that whatever I put my hands to in 2011 will be better. I turn all of my emotions, feelings and challenges over to You. I pray that the successes of the past be remembered as what You provided me and failures be seen as a reminder for me not to rely on my own strength. Thank you Father God in Jesus name. Holy Spirit, continue strengthening and reminding me that my life is for God. I turn everything that I am to you Father God in Jesus name. AMEN!
